Salford gets ready to celebrate pride at The Pink Picnic
- The Pink Picnic takes place on Saturday 21 June 2025 at Peel Park, Salford
- Tickets are £5 and include a full day of live music, performances and family-friendly fun
- A pride celebration for all ages
Salford’s biggest LGBTQ+ celebration, The Pink Picnic, is back on Saturday 21 June at Peel Park and you’re invited.
Now in its 14th year, The Pink Picnic is a fun, family-friendly pride event that brings people together to celebrate Salford’s LGBTQ+ community. Now a much-loved part of the city’s events calendar, this year’s event promises a full day of live entertainment, music, performances, community stalls and more.
There will also be a dedicated family area, a quiet space for those who need it, and food and drink stalls on site. Visitors are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, dress in their brightest colours, and enjoy a relaxed, feel-good day out in the park.
Councillor Hannah Robinson-Smith, Lead Member for Lead Member for Culture, Heritage, Equalities, Sports and Leisure, said:
“The Pink Picnic is always a highlight in Salford. It’s a brilliant day out for people of all ages - full of music, colour, and community. It’s also a really important event that shows our support for Salford’s LGBTQ+ residents and promotes equality and inclusion across the city. Whether you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, everyone is welcome.”
Organised by Salford Pride and supported by Salford City Council, the event is designed to be welcoming, inclusive and accessible to all.
Tickets are available on the official The Pink Picnic website.
