Salford students celebrated for great improvement in great A-level, T-level and vocational qualification results

Salford City Council is proud to congratulate students across the city on their A-level, T-level, and vocational results as results have increased.

Salford City College Group has announced a year of exceptional A-Level results, with students achieving a 99% pass rate and a marked increase in A* grades, particularly in Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM), humanities and creative subjects.
For Pendleton Sixth Form College, which is part of the Salford City College group, overall achievement for A-Level has improved from 78.6% last year to 83.5% this year, an increase of 4.9%.

High grades (A* to B) have increased by 6.7% to 40.9% and students achieving A* to C is now at 71.7%, a 5.6% increase.

Councillor Jim Cammell, Lead Member for Children and Young People’s Services, said: “Salford students and the teachers and staff in their schools and colleges deserve high praise for their results. I want to commend every student in Salford who has worked hard to achieve their A-level, T-level, and vocational qualifications. Their commitment and perseverance will have opened doors to exciting opportunities and bright futures. I also want to thank the dedicated staff in our schools and colleges whose support has been instrumental in helping students reach this milestone.”
