Following the recent statement issued by Salford Red Devils, a council spokesperson said: “Salford City Council is aware of current difficult financial position of Salford Red Devils RLFC. Salford City Council has announced the appointment of a new City Solicitor. Surjit Tour, will take up the role, following Cathy Parkinson’s departure from the position on an interim basis.
